The University of Michigan School of Public Health’s Big Data Summer Institute has received a five year Summer Institute in Biostatistics (SIBS) grant from the National Institute of Health that will extend the program through 2027.
Social determinants of health are key influences in shaping health outcomes. With this in mind, a group of six undergraduate students from the University of Michigan School of Public Health came together to publish a paper on how the COVID-19 pandemic will impact various social determinants of health as we look toward the future and the virus continues to spread.
The University of Michigan School of Public Health’s Big Data Summer Institute has received a three-year grant from the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute to continue a program run by the Department of Biostatistics that introduces undergraduate students to the intersection of big data and human health.
