Spotlight
Lindsay Green
Being a nurturer comes naturally to Lindsay Green. It’s a big part of her personality, especially with those she cares about. That personal fascination has led Green to earn a Master of Public Health in Nutritional Sciences as she graduates from the University of Michigan School of Public Health this spring.
Lakshmi Meyyappan
Health disparities between Lakshmi Meyyappan’s Michigan hometown and where her grandparents live in India was a major factor in her decision to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Public Health Sciences from the University of Michigan School of Public Health.
Danielle Stone
Danielle Stone, a self-proclaimed Trekkie, is boldly going where (virtually) no one has gone before: graduating with a Master of Science in Computational Epidemiology and Systems Modeling from the University of Michigan School of Public Health. She'll be among the first graduates from the new degree program.
Rob Davidson
Dr. Rob Davidson has served patients in his community for nearly two decades in a rural west Michigan ER. Using that experience he's become a vocal advocate for state and national policies to expand affordable healthcare to all patients. He discusses how he's earning his MPH as an online master’s student, while battling COVID-19 on the frontlines and fighting for health care policy in the media.
