The 2023-2024 tuition rates were approved by the University of Michigan Board of Regents in June 2023. 2024-2025 tuition rates will be posted in July 2024. All tuition rates are subject to Regents’ approval and change. Please visit the Office of the Registrar for complete information.

In addition to tuition, all resident graduate students may borrow funds to cover the following approved costs of attendance:

Tuition Due Dates and Deadlines

Tuition, fees, room and board charges are due for all University of Michigan students according to the following schedule:

  • Fall 2023: August 31, 2023
  • Winter 2024: January 31, 2024
  • Spring, Spring/Summer 2024: April 30, 2024
  • Summer 2024:  June 30, 2024
  • Fall 2024: August 31, 2024
