Research Interests & Projects

Through graduate training in epidemiology studying non-communicable disease, I hope to develop the necessary skills to be able to expand our understanding of population health disparities in relation to social-political factors, availability, and access of preventative health services. I hope to identify environmental, structural, social, and spatial methods, and applications that affect population health and to use this knowledge to develop culturally sensitive interventions to lessen disparities.
