Wei Hao

Wei Hao, PhD

  • Research Assistant Professor, Biostatistics 
Dr. Hao is interested in statistical methodology development in mediation analysis for multiple and high-dimensional mediators, with applications in health-related fields, such as nutrition, environmental health, and epidemiology. Her collaborative work are primarily focused on analysis of complex biomedical data from exposure to chemical mixtures, chronic kidney disease, and cancer.

Research Interests:
Statistical methods in mediation analysis and causal inference, electronic health records data, statistical applications in environmental health, nephrology and pathology.

Research Projects:
Hao's methodological research focuses on development in mediation analysis with multiple or high-dimensional mediators, and their applications.

Hao has extensive experience working with environmental health data and her current interests are in modeling the associations between exposure to multipollutant mixtures and health outcomes.
