Dr. Westrick's research focuses on the social epidemiology of aging. She investigates how social determinants on the individual, interpersonal, and neighborhood levels influence health disparities in functional aging with a specific interest in the aging of cancer survivors.
Dr. Westrick is leading an NIA-funded K99 (K99AG076532-01A1), which aims to identify cognitive aging trajectories of older cancer survivors and estimate the contribution of key modifiable risk and resilience factors to later-life cognition in the United States and England.
