Faculty and students in the University of Michigan School of Public Health’s  Nutritional Sciences department pursue the newest knowledge about diet and human nutrition to improve public health and advance our understanding of contemporary nutrition issues.

Nutrition students at Michigan Public Health prepare for careers in community health, health science, dietetics, advocacy, and more with our robust curriculum, research opportunities, internships, courses from across the University of Michigan campus, and both practical community and clinical experiences. We also offer students a path to obtain a Registered Dietitian (RD) credential.
