If you’re currently a citizen or resident of a country other than the United States, there are a few additional steps you’ll need to take once you’ve been admitted. There are also many resources available to help make your transition to the University of Michigan as smooth as possible.
International Admitted Student Checklist
In addition to the steps on our Admitted Student Checklist, international students should complete the following steps:
- Review funding requirements for I-20 issuance.
- After paying enrollment deposit, please complete the Financial Resources Statement and Affidavit of Financial Resources.
- Incoming MS and PhD students only: Review additional immigration information on the Rackham Graduate School website.
