PHSA is hosting organizing a pen pal program between the students in our SPH program and elementary students in Ann Arbor Public Schools! The program would tentatively consist of our SPH students and the elementary students exchanging letters 2-4 times before winter break. As a Pen Pal you would come to an initial meeting at SPH on Friday, October 22 1-4 PM in which you would be able to write a letter introducing yourself to the Elementary Students. You would receive an additional envelope so that you can address it and include it in your letter so that the elementary student can use it to respond to you! This is a great way to inspire and support the next generation of students.
If interested, please respond by 5 pm EST on Friday, October 21st. We do ask for a semester long commitment to your penpal. If you have any follow up questions or concerns about this program please contact: Hannah Schafer (schaferh@umich.edu)
